Derrick Jacobus, MA, FP-C, NRP is a paramedic and police officer with an emergency management background from the Atlantic/Cape May County area. Derrick is a 21-year paramedic where he has served in various roles in South Jersey from flight paramedic to clinical instructor, most recently as an EMS Supervisor. Derrick is also a 15+ year investigator with a County Prosecutor’s Office where he is assigned to the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, specializing in victim advocacy for vulnerable populations, child forensic interviews, and mobile/computer forensics.
Derrick is also a mentor for Thomas Edison State University in Trenton, NJ for the John S. Watson School of Public Service focusing on public service professions through a Master of Public Service Leadership program and the Master of Science in Management program.
